Despair

In my darkest hours of despair you were there
But where are you know just watching from a safe distance
Standing behind closed doors hoping I'll change
Well I can't change without you here
Because without you I don't need to change
Because you're the one I'm changing for
And without you there to help me through
I'll just drift away
Drift away into the despair
With the darkness rising all around
I do believe I'm falling down
Falling down a very dark pit
I'll just keep on falling down and down
Until I inevitably hit the ground
Once I hit the ground I won't get up
Ill just stay there all bent up
It will be a pit of despair
And in it nothing will be fair
